Safar Center Scientist, Cameron Dezfulian, MD, in collaboration with William Clark, PhD, was recently awarded $50,000 for pediatric development of their innovative new intravenous catheter called the ThreadRite IV by the Philadelphia Pediatric Device Consortium. The ThreadRite IV was developed to reduce the number of attempts at IV access by notifying clinicians of vein entry.
