Nicole Osier to Represent the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing at the 27th International Nursing Research Conference

Safar Center Nursing PhD Student and Neurosurgery Researcher Nicole Osier BSN, BS,RN was recently selected to represent her school, the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, as a Rising Star of  Research and Scholarship. As part of this honor, Nicole will attend the 27th International Nursing Research Conference taking place in Cape Town, South Africa in July. At the conference, she will present a special talk about her dissertation project on her work characterizing the role of the melatonergic system after brain injury, and  the role of animal models in nursing research more broadly.  Nicole is working under the mentor ship of Dr. Sheila Alexander and Dr. C. Edward Dixon at the Safar Center for Resuscitation Research. Join us in congratulating her on her achievement!
