Amy K. Wagner, MD, Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, School of Medicine, and Associate Director at the Safar Center for Resuscitation Research, will deliver a Provost’s Inaugural Lecture, “Rehabilomics Research: Examining Approaches to Personalized Medicine in TBI,” at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, in Lecture Room 6, Scaife Hall.
The Provost’s Inaugural Lecture series invites notable University of Pittsburgh faculty members to give a lecture marking their recent appointments to endowed chairs. Dr. Wagner is Research Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is a leading investigator in the use of biomarkers and biologics in developing and optimizing individualized treatment outcomes. Her research focuses on the neurobiology of neuroplasticity and recovery after traumatic brain injury. A reception with light refreshments will follow the talk.
